The Coromandel Region of New Zealand is truly a special place. The Coromandel Peninsula separates the Pacific Ocean from the Hauraki Gulf. It is a beautiful, rugged area fringed with dozens of excellent beaches, and the Coromandel Ranges, forested land. Surfing, swimming, fishing and even a hot stream running under the sand are among the pleasures of these pristine beaches. You can enjoy yachting, boating, kayaking and canoeing, water-skiing, diving and snorkeling. In the mountainous, forested interior, rock-hounding, hiking, camping and horse trekking are popular.

Where

We are located in a unique historical town in the North Island of New Zealand. Thames was one of New Zealand's largest towns in the period of the gold mining and Kauri Tree logging, over a century ago. Our building is new and the facilities are modern. From our Education Studios you can enjoy the backdrop of the ocean (Firth of Thames) or the majestic Coromandel Ranges. The Thames Coast is 35 Km of shoreline, particularly stunning in December when the native pohutukawa trees, also known as New Zealand's Christmas Tree, display their brilliant red flowers. Many conservationists, alternative lifestylers and crafts-people live in Thames. These, and a growing number of up market beach resorts in the region, offer activities such as tennis, golf, windsurfing, bowls, croquet and scenic flights and cruises. The towns are all of historical interest, with heritage trails, local museums, fine Victorian buildings and relics of the gold-mining and kauri-logging days. The picturesque town of Thames is just a short 1-2 hour drive from four major New Zealand cities: Auckland, Hamilton, Rotorua and Tauranga

Option 3. Tuition Plus Single Room - US $1,890.00 (excludes meals)

Option 4. Tuition Plus Full Services Twin-share. Includes daily self-service breakfast and home-cooked dinner Mon-Fri, 3 meals on Sat-Sun, Laundry Service, linen changed weekly, and supplied bedding) - US$2,190.00

Option 5. Tuition Plus Full Services Single Room. Includes daily self-service breakfast and home-cooked dinner Mon-Fri, 3 meals on Sat-Sun, Laundry Service, linen changed weekly, and supplied bedding) - US$2,390.00

• Return Airport Pickup Service Auckland or Hamilton Airport pick- up NZ$125.00 (optional)

• One-way Airport Pickup Service Auckland or Hamilton Airport pick- up NZ$65.00 (optional)

• Laundry Option for those with option 2 and 3, NZ$7.50 surcharge per week. This is for your own personal clothes (Not to combine your clothes with others).

Visa Requirements?

The following people are exempt from having to obtain a temporary visa:

• People who hold a current resident return visa issued by the Government of Australia

•  people listed in the Immigration Regulations 1999 Schedule 1, Part 1B (see below) and

• Visits up to 3 months - Citizens of:

* Portuguese passport holders must also have the right to live permanently in Portugal.
** Including nationals of the USA.
*** Residents of Hong Kong traveling on Hong Kong Special Administrative

Region or British National (Overseas) passports.

People traveling on a United Nations (UN) laissez-passer.
Visits up to 6 months

British citizens and other British passport holders who produce evidence of the right to reside permanently in the United Kingdom.
